‘I See Crisis As Opportunity’ …Travel Along, Day 2

26January

People who say they can’t, or are not making a decision.  Such a namby-pamby response.

Definition: lacking energy, strength, or courage, feeble, insipid, weak, lacking in moral character.  You get the picture.

Even if you do not say yes or no, you are making a choice.  Period.  End of story.

If there is an actual reason for holding off on the yes or no, such as needing more facts, then just say where you are at in your process.  There is no strength when as an adult you wobble around like a lost toddler.

Fear can get in the way of making a choice.  What if I eliminate all of my other choices?  I am afraid.  Oh, no, the sky is going to fall.  Seriously?!  Really?!  Another choice can always be made.  Is the choice written in stone?  Even if it were… if I didn’t like, I would make another choice.

As we are in the midst of crisis, what a terrific time to make a choice to step into opportunity.

And, what an opportune time this is to work out!  I am glad I made the choice to better my body.

Other opportunities to work out showed up in my emails.

How did I make a choice?  Simple.  I chose the GRIT workout because Greg Horn invited me.  Decisive.  I saw this worked for Greg.  Greg likes it… a lot.  I saw this crisis as opportunity.

A quote I like is, “I am 100% certain that I am 0% sure of what I’m going to do.”  Yeah, that’s jumping into GRIT.  In fact, I didn’t even read the page that said what was involved.

Now if all choices were that simple, life would be much easier.  So what.  Our choices are based on the facts we can get at a specific point in time, and then make a choice.  It’s as simple as that.  Maybe if Greg were around more often, I’d cut the facts down, or wouldn’t need as many as I typically do.   Ha

I’m grateful and appreciative to be at GRIT with a bunch of people who have made a choice in crisis to see and choose the opportunity to work out.

I’m looking forward to the fact that other opportunities may very likely show up during this crisis.

I won’t be laying on the sofa with nothing to do. I can tell you with 100% certainty.

If there is one thing I get tired of hearing, it is “I haven’t or can’t decide.”  The bottom line is a decision was made.  They chose to not do.
